Action Cincinnati

I've decided to give the blog another go. I've been thinking about this for a while; what direction, what to focus on and the message I hope to convey. While I will always consider myself a 'Ms', the previous name didn't feel right for a new direction so the name has now been changed to 'Action Cincinnati'. What does that mean? It means there's an abundance of activities in our area and I hope to highlight a few each week and review interesting excursions so you can look for them in the future. Many of the options will be free or low cost. So, my questions is:

Are you ready to take Action, Cincinnati?

Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day and this year, that wonderful day falls on a Saturday. Put your green on a come downtown for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade steps off at noon at Second and Main. It turns down Fifth St and goes past Fountain Square before turning down Elm St. This parade lasts well over an hour and is second only to the Reds Opening Day parade, which is also coming up on April 5.
Also on Saturday, the first event at the Schmidlapp Event Lawn features the Irish band The Prodigals for a free all-ages concert. This is the new lawn next to the Christian Morelein Lager House. Not much information yet. I'll try to find out when the band is playing and if there's going to be additional bands on Sat.
